The Knife
Shard is an incredibly tough neck knife, sporting an overall length of 5” end to end, it’s my smallest knife yet. It’s also the lightest weighing in at 2.75oz INCLUDING THE SHEATH! I wanted this to be small yet mighty, so it has an aggressively stout angle on the 2” blade, full tang, and 1/8” thick so it still holds up to the abuse Scav Eng knives are known for taking. I also HATE broken tips on knives, and that is common on triangular blade shapes so I fixed the “problem” before it ever became one… I cut the tip back at an angle to ensure there is always a lot of steel at the very tip of the knife. The handle is hand tied using USA Made Paracord for excellent grip and cordage in emergency situations and I put a small loop on the end for your pinky in case you’re doing something where you absolutely can’t lose your grip. The blade has an “As Tempered” natural finish that I stylized before getting to the temper step, giving it the Golden Luster. It of course has the venerable Scandi grind to make it a top performing blade in every way with easy sharpening. Made to be extremely heavy duty, ready for your abuse, and delivered hair shaving sharp.
The Sheath
A hand formed Kydex sheath using USA Made Kydex with a lanyard to hang the knife around your neck so you always have it handy. The Kydex is formed to fit this knife, making for excellent retention.
