The Knife
Superior was made to be a small and handy knife, in and out of the sheath. It’s 6-3/4” long with a 3” blade, 1/8” thick, but is very narrow from blade to spine. Actually, this is the most narrow knife I’ve made since the intent was Superior packability. The handle sports a hand wrapped USA made paracord handle in bright red for high visibility. Much harder to lose if you set it down. It has a partial Scav-Enged finish where I left the straw color from the tempering process. As always, the blade sports the venerable Scandi grind to make a top performing blade in every way with easy sharpening. Lanyard loop for extra security hold. Made to be extremely heavy duty, ready for your abuse, and delivered hair shaving sharp.
The Sheath
A hand formed Kydex sheath with a spring steel dangler clip. The sweet thing is the clip can rotate independent to the sheath, making for easier draw while still staying clipped. The clip is also narrow enough to clip directly into PALS/MOLLE webbing and I kept the sheath itself as narrow as possible for Superior packability. The Kydex is formed to fit this knife, making for hand fit retention.
