Simply unroll the Butt Rug and throw it Cordura side down on the ground, a log, a rock, anything, and have a dry seat and insulation. No need to worry about damage, as the 1000 Denier Cordura is incredibly abrasion resistant and it’s polyurethane and DWR coatings will protect from moisture intrusion. Not just for the PNW, the Butt Rug works equally well anywhere you need a seat. Use it after a long trek out backpacking, having a seat on a cold boulder in the morning, while your glassing for that monster buck, at the campfire, as a kneepad around the garden, etc. Preserve your warmth, your clothes, and your butt.
